UGC NET 2021 Postpone: Due to increase in cases of corona infection, the central and state governments are doing everything possible as a precaution. CBSE and other state education boards have also decided to cancel and postpone the examinations. Recently NEET PG and JEE Main examination has been postponed. In such a situation, there are speculations that it is being postponed. NTA UGC NET 2021 may be postponed. There will also be a challenge to the candidates to reach the examination center. UGC NET 2021 Exam Schedule
The exam for UGC NET / JRF will be taken on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 May 2021. Candidates appearing in the examination will be able to get the information about the date and time of the examination after the release of the admit card. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. Higher education institutions conduct National Research Fellowship and National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor. This examination is conducted twice a year. This time this exam is being conducted for December 2020 and May 2021 only once.

UGC NET 2021 Eligibility
A candidate applying for the UGC NET exam must pass a PG degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks. This year, candidates up to 31 years of age for JRF are considered eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor.

UGC NET 2021 Exam Pattern
Two question papers will be taken in the UGC NET exam. The duration of the UGC NET exam will be of three hours. Paper 1 will contain 50 questions of total 100 marks on ‘Teaching and Research Aptitude’. Paper 2 will contain 100 questions from the related subject. Each question will carry two marks.

NTA UGC NET May 2021 Important Instructions

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, on the day of examination, the candidates have to fill the self-declaration given along with the admit card. The transparent ball point pen will be given at the examination center itself. The candidate has to bring a valid photo identity card and a photograph with him. The candidate is required to wear a mask at the examination center, as well as a 50 ml bottle of hand sanitizer, and a transparent water bottle.
