Sarkari Naukri: The Rajasthan government has announced a relaxation in the recruitment criteria as per the rules for EWS candidates in the same way as other reserved sections. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has organized a meeting of the state cabinet for this. Instructions have also been given to implement the decision taken in the meeting in all the upcoming recruitments. The Cabinet has also approved the proposal for relaxation in age limit to EWS in the same manner as other reserved categories. This will benefit all those candidates belonging to the economically weaker section, who are unable to apply only because they have crossed the age limit. For appointment in state services, the age limit prescribed in the service rules has been increased. Like reserved category candidates, EWS will also be given the benefit of age relaxation.

EWS category candidates will get a lot of benefit from this decision. Now male candidates will be able to apply for jobs for five years and female candidates after ten years, just like other reserved classes. The Chief Minister also announced in the budget for the EWS category.
