Appointment to the post of Specialist Medical Officer will be on purely contractual basis and the initial term of the contract has been fixed at three years. Depending on the work, a maximum of 2 years of service extension can be given. For this, the maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 70 years. The date for the walk-in interview is set to be 14 April.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification and work experience have been prescribed separately for all posts. Candidate should have PG Degree / Diploma for the concerned post. 18 months work experience is required for PG degree candidates and 30 months work experience is required for diploma holder.
Age Range
The age of the applicant should not be more than 70 years till the date of interview. At the time of walk-in-interview, the candidates will have to bring the original and photocopies of all educational and other necessary documents.

How to apply
Interested candidates can go for walk-in-interview on 14 April 2021 with all documents at Composite Hospital, CRPF, Group Center Campus, Uderband, Dayapur, Silchar (Assam). For walk-in-interview, the candidates have to bring the original and photocopy of all the required documents (degree, age proof and experience certificate etc.). On the A4 paper, the name and the required details of the post applying as a resume will have to be filled and taken together. 5 recent passport size photographs taken will also have to be taken. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of interview and medical examination.
