New Delhi. There is good news for the unemployed youth who are looking for government job opportunities. 10th pass is a golden opportunity for the youth to get a government job in Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell has released the notification of Apprenticeship in North Western Railway for 10th pass candidates. Notification has been issued for this. If you are 10th pass and are interested to do a job in Railways then you can apply.
Selection will be based on merit
North Central Railway has invited applications for 1664 vacancies. ITI pass youth can apply online for these posts of apprentice. According to the notification, candidates can apply till September 1, 2021. Candidates will be selected on these posts on the basis of merit of 10th and ITI.
Recruitment is out in various units
According to the notification, the total number of posts is 1664. This recruitment is to be done for 364 posts in Prayagraj Division, 480 in Jhansi Division, 185 in Jhansi Workshop and 296 in Agra Division. This includes the trades of Fitter, Welder, Winder, Machinist, Electrician, Carpenter, Painter, Mechanic and Wireman. The qualifications prescribed for the application are also different according to the trade.

Qualification
Applying candidates should be 10th and ITI pass.
Candidates should have at least 50% marks in high school.
ITI certificate should be recognized by NCVT or SCVT.
Age Range
The age of the applying candidates should be between 15 years to 24 years.
