Candidates must appear in Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test to become a Primary Teacher (Class 1-5) or Upper Primary Teacher (6-8). Qualified candidates will be given a TET eligibility certificate which is valid for 7 years.

MAHATET Eligibility Criteria : Candidates Who Are Going to Apply Online Application Form of Maharashtra TET. We have advised them that they can check all the eligibility parameters which are given below or on the official page.
Educational qualification: It is to be noted that there will be two papers in MAHATET, Paper 1 and Paper 2 are for class 1 to 5 and class 6 to 8 respectively. To apply for Paper 1, candidates must have passed HSC with minimum 50 per cent marks and must have Diploma in Education. For Paper 2 at TGT level, candidates need to complete their graduation, must have B.A./ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. in HSC with 50 percentile marks. The qualification is applicable for both classes 1-5 teachers and 5-8 teachers.
Age Criteria: Candidates check age in upper and lower limit prescribed by Maharashtra Board. They also check official notification for age limit.
MAHA TET Application Fee: – Rs.500 for one paper for general candidates- Rs.800 for both & Rs.250 for one paper and Rs.400 for both SC/ST/CI/PH candidates

How to Apply MAHA TET Application Form
- Applicants should visit the official portal of Maharashtra TET http://mahatet.in/ should go on.
- Click on MAHA TET Apply Now.
- The application form will appear on the screen.
- Enter the required information like personal and educational qualification.
- Upload the given documents like photograph, signature and others.
- Pay the application fee through online payment mode
- Recheck the application form before the final submission.
- After successful form submission download and print the application form.
Maharashtra TET Admit Card :
After the application form the candidates who want to download the Maha TET admit card can visit the official portal. MAHATET Hall Ticket will be released from December. Candidates are advised to download Maharashtra TET Admit Card before the exam. After the completion of the exam, MSEC will provide the MAHA TET Result to the candidates who have participated in the exam.
MAHATET Exam Result Cut / Merit List :
Maharashtra State Council of Examination declared MAHATET result after one week from the exam. Generally the authority has released the Maharashtra TET Exam Result in the month of December along with the MAHATET Cut Off and Merit List.
