IAF AFCAT 2021: Application process for recruitment starts, NCC cadet will get exemption, know full details

IAF AFCAT 2021 Registration Process: Indian Air Force has released the notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test 2021. The registration process for AFCAT 2021 has started from 01 December 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till 30 December 2020 by visiting the official website afcat.cdac.in. Applications for these posts can be made online only.

Please read the detailed notification for all the necessary information related to eligibility. Information is given in detail in the notification. These courses will start from January 2022. This recruitment examination will be conducted for about 238 posts. Candidates must be unmerged. This examination is held twice a year.

Age Range
The age limit for flying branch has been fixed at 20 to 24 years.
For commercial pilot license, the upper age limit will be waived for a few years and candidates can fill the form even when they are 26 years old.
The age limit for ground duty (technical and non-technical branch) has been fixed at 20 to 26 years.

pay scale
Candidates can get salary ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,10700 if selected on the post of Flying Officer of Indian Airforce. However, for this it is necessary to pass the examination of the candidates and make a place in the merit list.

Selection Process
Selection in the AFCAT exam will be through written examination, officers intelligence rating test, picture perception and discussion test, psychological test, group tests and interviews.

Application fee
Candidates will have to pay 250 rupees as examination fee. However, the candidates applying under NCC Special Entry will not have to pay anything as fee. You can visit the IAF website to get detailed information in any other subject.
