BSEH aka Board of School Education Haryana invites on-line applications for the post of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) to select teachers for classes I-V (Primary), Class VI-VIII (TGT) and PGT.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted for the candidates who want to teach from class 1 to 12.

Candidates who are preparing for the exam can now check the exam dates, eligibility criteria and other details related to HTET on the official website of the board. Notification brochure and other details for HTET release on official website.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted for the candidates who want to teach from class 1 to 12. The exam is divided into category types. The first is for those candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5, the second is for teachers of classes 6 to 8 and the third is for teachers from classes 9 to 12.

Candidates must note that in order to qualify the HTET exam, as teachers need to possess the requisite aptitude and ability to face the challenges of teacher, secondary and senior secondary levels.

HTET is conducted by National Council of Teacher Education and Department of School Education, Haryana for all the three categories of schools which are Primary, TGT and PGT.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted for 2.5 hours duration. Candidates will have to attempt 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test.

  • Phase 1: Visit the official website of http://www.haryanatet.in/.
  • Phase 2: While filling the online form enter all the latest details and upload the scanned images of latest color photograph, thumb impression and signature.
  • step 3: After successful submission of data and required fee (through gateway payment), take a printout of the confirmation page for record and keep it for your reference.
  • Note: There is no need to send the confirmation page to the board office.
