SSC CHSL 2020: Today is the last day to apply for the CHSL exam, 2020 to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The SSC had issued a notice for this on 15 December, extending the date of application till 19 December. Candidates who have not yet applied can apply by visiting the Commission’s website, ssc.nic.in. Let us know that this examination will be conducted by SSC for the recruitment of 4726 posts of Clerk, Sorting Assistant, Postal Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO), etc. in Central Government Ministries and Departments.

Earlier, the SSC had announced the total number of vacancies to be filled through the CHSL exam of 2020 on 8 December. According to the notice of the Commission, the layoffs assistant, lower division clerk, etc. are to be recruited for a total of 4726 vacancies. These vacancies are in the Ministries and Departments of the Central Government, which has the highest number of vacancies in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. At the same time, it has the second maximum of 231 vacancies at Naval Headquarters.

Eligibility
As per SSC CHSL notification all those candidates who have passed any recognized Board Senior Secondary (12th) examination or equivalent qualification. In addition, the age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 27 years. At the same time, a provision has also been made for relaxation in maximum age limit for reserved category candidates.

How to apply
For the application, the candidates will have to register after visiting the official website of the Commission from the link of the new user given in the login section on the home page. After this, candidates will be able to submit their application by logging in with the user ID and password issued. Candidates will also have to pay a fee of Rs 100 at the time of application, which can be paid through online means (debit card, credit card, internet banking, etc.).
