This year, Bihar Public Service Commission is going to fill 9543 vacancies of various posts including Civil Services, Professor and other posts. BPSC 64th to 66th Civil Services Vacancies
According to the Secretary of the Commission, Keshav Ranjan, about 1450 vacancies are to be recruited in BPSC 64th Joint Civil Services Examination, 550 in 65th Joint Civil Services Examination and 689 posts in 65th Joint Civil Services Examination. The preliminary examination for the above examinations has already been taken by the Commission.
The vacancies of Engineers are to be filled:
Approximately 1284 Assistant Engineers vacancies will be appointed in PHED, REO, PWD and State Building Construction Departments. The result of the main examination for the post of Assistant Engineer will be released on 18 January 2021. Then, an interview round will be conducted for those candidates who pass the main examination.
Engineer colleges will be recruited for the vacant posts of professor:
Commission Secretary Keshav Ranjan has informed that the recruitment process has started for the recruitment of Assistant Professor posts in Government Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges of the state. Approximately three and a half thousand posts will be appointed through this recruitment process.
Apart from this, various medical colleges and universities are yet to be appointed for various posts including judicial service, assistant professor. Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
Recruitment to 1171 posts in 2020:
According to Keshav Ranjan, despite Covid-19, the commission had completed the interview process of BPSC 64th CCE 2020 with 1171 vacant posts and also conducted BPSC 66th CCE (Civil Services) Prelims 2020 exam.
Even after COVID-19, the Commission admitted to the vacant posts of Assistant Professor in medical colleges. Out of which 27 vacancies were of Music Professors in BN Mandal University (Madhepura), 26 vacancies of Professors for Government Training College, 26 Professors of Health and Physical Education, 102 posts of Assistant Engineer Mechanical, 6 posts of Civil were appointed. . The largest appointment was made for 451 posts for all teacher training colleges in the state.
