UPSC: UPSC postpones civil service exam due to Corona cases


UPSC Civil Service interviews 2020-21 postponed: In view of the rising outbreak of Corona, the Union Public Service Commission has decided to postpone the civil service examination interviews.

UPSC Civil Service ias interview postponed: In view of the fast spreading epidemic in the country, many states have decided to postpone the examination of school colleges and along with this have ordered the closure of school colleges. Now, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also postponed the interview for the Civil Services Examination 2020 due to corona virus cases.

This examination is conducted by UPSC in three phases every year, in which the candidate has to go through preliminary examination, main examination and interview in the first phase. Then there is a selection of officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS).

The UPSC Civil Services Interview was to be conducted from 26 April to 18 April 2121, interviewing the candidates who joined the IAS. But it has now been postponed due to Corona. The new dates will be communicated to the candidates as per the scheduled time. For this, candidates should keep an eye on UPSC Civil Services official website i.e. The statement said that any decision taken by the Commission in relation to the examination, recruitment and interview will be made available on the website of the Commission immediately. UPSC said, “Whenever dates are set for postponed examinations or interviews, it will be ensured that candidates are given at least 15 days notice.”
