UPSC IES 2020: Union Public Service Commission has invited applications from interested and qualified candidates for the Indian Economic Service Examination 2020. The last date of application for the recruitment examination is ending tomorrow i.e. September 1.

UPSC IES 2020: Union Public Service Commission has invited applications from interested and qualified candidates for the Indian Economic Service Examination 2020. The last date of application for the recruitment examination is ending tomorrow i.e. September 1. Candidates who have not yet applied can apply online by visiting the Commission’s website by September 1, 2020 (6 pm). After applying, candidates who want to withdraw the application will be provided online facility from September 8 to 14 (6 pm). This year, applications have been invited for a total of 15 posts for IES 2020 (IES 2020). One of these posts is reserved for differently abled candidates. Candidates are advised to study the notification for more information. It is noteworthy that last year, applications were invited for 32 posts for IES.

This year, the UPSC had issued a statement saying that IES Examination (IES Examination) will not be held because there are no posts. However, the notice was issued stating that the examination would be conducted at the request of the Finance Ministry. Therefore, the commission issued a notification for the exam on Tuesday. The UPSC IES 2020 Examination (UPSC IES 2020 Examination) will be conducted on 16 and 18 October 2020 along with the Indian Statistical Service.

Eligibility criteria
Age limit: The candidate must be at least 21 years of age at the time of applying. The upper age limit is 30 years. SC, ST candidates will be given upper age relaxation.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a post graduate degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from any recognized university.

Application fee: Candidates have to pay 200 rupees as application fee. All category women candidates and Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Disabled candidates will not be charged the application fee.

Candidates will first have to appear in the written examination, which will be of a thousand marks. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for 200 marks Viva Voice. General English and General Studies papers will be the same for both Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.
