UPPSC drug inspector recruitment 2021: The preparation of the government job and the candidates who have applied for this recruitment are bad news. The Allahabad High Court has canceled the advertisement of direct recruitment of Drug Inspector. The High Court has rejected the advertisement for not conforming to the relevant rules.

The court has also canceled the selection made under this advertisement and has given exemption to the state government that it can issue a new advertisement or corrigendum under the relevant law. Also, the UP Public Service Commission is also expected to take action under the applicable law.

This decision was given by Justice AR Masudi on the petition of Ashish Tyagi and others. Yachis challenged the advertisement released on 10 August 2016 to the recruitment of drug inspectors. Yachis said that the qualification given in the advertisement was not in accordance with the required qualification described under Rule 49 of the Drugs and Cosmetic Acts, 1940, in which case the advertisement was eligible to be canceled.

On the other hand, the petition was opposed by the state government and the UP Public Service Commission, calling the advertisement as justified. The court, while granting the petition, canceled the advertisement issued in 2016 for direct recruitment of drug inspectors, terming it as unauthorized and against the relevant rule. The court has also canceled the selection made under this advertisement, giving exemption to the state government that it can issue a new advertisement or corrigendum under the rule of the relevant law.
