Eligibility Criteria for UP Police ASI Posts:

Assistant-Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk) – Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognized university. Hindi typing speed is required to pass 25 WPM and English typing 30 WPM and O level examination.
Police Sub-Inspector (Accounts) – Graduate in Accounts or Commerce. 15 wpm and O level Hindi typing speed.
3. Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential) – Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognized university. Hindi typing speed 25 WPM and English typing 30 WPM. The stenographer should be able to type 8- wpm in Hindi or have passed the level examination.
