SSC CGL Qualification:

pay scale: The salary for candidates under Group B is Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800, while for candidates under Group C, Rs. 5,200 is Rs. 20,200.

educational qualification: Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. Candidates appearing for the final year examination are eligible to appear for the examination. You can see detailed information in the official notification issued by the corporation.

Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in Mathematics in 12th standard from a recognized university or institute or Bachelor degree with Statistics as a subject at degree level in any discipline.

SSC CGL Age Limit:

(As on 01.01.2021) Candidates need 20 to 30 years of age to apply for the exam.

Age Relaxation: Exemption will be given to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Disabled (PWD) and women as per government rules.

Job Location: Candidates will be appointed in India.

Selection Process- Selection will be computer based written based.

The exam is conducted in 4 stages viz.

SSC CGL Syllabus

Tier 1 – 200 marks The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of 100 questions of 200 marks from 4 sections. The time duration of the exam is 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. Objective Type Questions to test General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension of the applicants.

Tier 2 – 800 points: The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam paper consists of 4 sections of Quantitative Aptitude (100 questions), English Language and Comprehension (200 questions), Statistics (100 questions) and General Studies (Finance & Accounting and Economics & Governance) (100 questions). Each question in this section will carry 1 mark. The time allotted for each section is 2 hours.

Tier 3 – 100 Marks – The exam paper is a descriptive test of marks. The sections covered in this paper are English / Hindi (writing of Essay / Passage, Letter / Application, etc.) and the time duration of the paper is 60 minutes.

Tier 4 – The exam is a computer skill test and is conducted in two stages.
