SSB Constable Educational Qualification
- Constable (driver) – Must have passed 10th or equivalent from a recognized board and should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
- Constable (Lab Assistant) – Must have passed 10th from Science stream. Lab Assistant Course should have a certificate.
- Constable (Veterinary) – Must have passed 10th or Matriculation examination with Science as a core subject from a recognized Board or University.
- Constable (Aya) – Must have passed 10th class from science and a certificate of passing first aid examination from Red Cross Society or trained midwife with 1 year experience in related field.
- Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter and others) – Must have passed matriculation degree or equivalent and should be used in your trade for two years

Salary for ssb constable 2020
Candidates who will be appointed as SSB constables will be paid salary in Level-3 (Pay Matrix 21700 to Rs 69,100) as per 7th CPC.

- Constable (Lab Assistant) – 18 to 25 years
- Constable (Veterinary) – 18 to 25 years
- Constable (Aaya) – 18 to 25 years
- Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter) – 18 to 25 years
- Constable (Others) – 18 to 23 years
