Sarkari Naukri: There is good news for the youth preparing for government job. The recruitment has been announced by the government after Jammu and Kashmir was made a union territory. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) under the Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued recruitment notification for a total of 1997 posts for Kashmir migrants and non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits under the Prime Minister package in various departments in the Divisional / District cadre. According to the notification issued by the board on Monday, 1 December 2020, the online application process for these posts will start from 7 December. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website jkssb.nic.in till 21 December 2020.

Eligibility
Only those candidates who are ‘citizens’ of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir can apply for notified posts in the departments of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates should have domicile certificate issued by the concerned authority.
Apart from domicile, candidates should possess the prescribed educational qualification (graduation / 12th / 10th) as per the post. The age limit of the candidates should not be more than 48 years.
