This fake notification was issued by an organization named ‘Evereston Infotech’ in the name of Indian Railways.

This fake notification was issued by an organization named ‘Evereston Infotech’ in the name of Indian Railways. The ministry said in its statement that the above organization had advertised the job vacancy in the name of Indian Railways and www.avestran.in As the website address was provided.
Railway recruitment was advertised for 5285 positions in eight categories on an outsourcing basis for an 11-year contract. Applicants were asked to deposit Rs 750 as online fee and the last date to apply was September 10, 2020. Ministry of Railways in its statement said that it is informed to all that advertisement for any railway recruitment is always done by Indian Railways. No private agency has been authorized to do so.
The ministry further said that it is illegal to issue such advertisements. The railway ministry further clarified that the ministry has not authorized any private agency to allegedly recruit employees on its (ministry’s) behalf, as the above company has issued fake advertisements.

Ministry of Railways said that various categories of Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts in Indian Railways are currently recruited by 21 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and 16 Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC)]Not by any other agency. The CEN is published through employment news and advertised in national dailies and local newspapers.
CEN is also displayed on the official websites of REB / RRC. The official statement states that the website address of all RRBs / RRCs is mentioned in the CEN. In a statement issued by the Ministry, it has been said that the Railways has started its investigation and strict action will be taken against the above agency / persons as per law.
