Vacancy has been removed for 266 posts in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Under these recruitment, candidates will not have to take any kind of examination. The selection of qualified candidates on these posts will be done only on the basis of interview. Significantly, all these posts are transferable. Candidates selected on these can be appointed to the NCERT offices located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, Shillong and Delhi as per requirement. The last date of application for all these posts has been fixed as 3 August 2020.
What is merit
Under NCERT vacancy, different educational qualifications and age limits have been fixed for different posts. Interested applicants can get detailed information about the yogis by visiting the NCERT website. It is also mandatory for applicants to be Indian citizens. It is noteworthy that the selected candidates can be posted in any constituent unit of NCERT. Therefore, only those candidates apply who are willing to serve anywhere in India.
How will choose
Eligible applicants will be selected through interview. First qualified applicants will be shortlisted for the interview. After this, their names will be uploaded on NCERT website for documents and eligibility verification. Shortlisted applicants will be called for interview after verification is completed. Traveling allowance will be given to candidates coming from outside for the interview. This allowance will be limited to railway fare (third class air-conditioned) or actual fare, whichever is less. No request for a change in the schedule of the interview will be entertained.
How much will the salary be
A salary of Rs 1,44,200 per month will be given under the academic level 14 for the post of professor in NCERT. A salary of Rs 1,31,400 per month will be given under the academic level 13A for the post of Associate Professor. There will be a salary of Rs 57,700 per month under the academic level 10 for the post of Assistant Professor. Under the educational level 14 for the post of Librarian there will be a salary of Rs 1,44,200 per month. For the post of Assistant Librarian, Rs 57,700 per month will be given as salary under educational level 10.

Applicants will have to submit an application fee of Rs 1000 to the applicants of UR / OBC / EWS mail category along with the application form. However, applicants from SC / ST / Women / PWD category will not have to pay any application fees. Applicants can submit this application fee online. Apart from this, applicants have to upload their scanned color passport size photo, signature and related documents along with the application form.
