A total of 300 vacancies of AO will be filled through this recruitment. Candidates can get the details at newindia.co.in. Interested youth can apply for the post of AO in Scale I cadre by September 21, 2021.

The age of the applicant for the post of AO has been fixed from 21 years to 30 years. However, relaxation in upper age limit is allowed to reserved category candidates as per rules. Before applying for the post of AO, candidates must read the detailed official notification released by NIACL.

Educational Qualifications
Candidate must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree or other equivalent degree from a recognized university with 60% marks. SC, ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% marks.
Candidates who are in final year of graduation or semester examination can also apply for the said posts. However, the candidate must hold a degree on or before September 30, 2021.

Selection Process
New India Assurance Company Limited will conduct preliminary examination for Phase-I of the selection process for the posts of AO Officers. The exam will be of objective type and will be conducted online. There will be questions from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. This will be followed by the Main Examination which will be both objective and descriptive type. Finally, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in main examination and interview.
