Indian Air Force STAR Exam: There is good news for youngsters aspiring to join the Indian Air Force as officers. The online registration process for the Air Force’s STAR exam will begin on January 22. Interested and eligible youth will be able to apply by visiting the official website of the Indian Air Line by 7 February. Indian Air Force will conduct online examination from 18 to 22 April for selection of candidates as Airmen in Group ‘X’ and Group ‘Y’ Trade.

For online registration, candidates should have their valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates must also have an Aadhaar number for registration. Only unmarried male citizens are eligible to apply for this examination.

According to the notification issued by the Indian Air Force, this selection test is not for commissioned officers, pilots and navigators. Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examination with 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and English with a total of 50% marks and 50% marks in English are eligible to apply for this exam. Diploma engineers can also apply for this exam.

During training, candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. After training, those enrolled in Group ‘X’ trade will be given a salary of Rs 33,100 per month and selected candidates in Group-Y will be paid Rs 26,900 per month.
