Bioflock technology
It is a low cost and limited production space technology. In this technology, the fish’s food and extra food are converted into protein cells by feeding bacteria in the tank system and converting it as food for fish.

Bioflox are algae, bacteria, protozoans, and organic matter such as fishmeal and excess food aggregates. It contains 25 to 50 percent protein and 5 to 15 percent fat. Bioflox are also a good source of vitamins and minerals, especially phosphorus.

* Probiotics may also have an effect on bioflox.
* Bioflox provides two important services – treatment and nutrition of extra-food waste.
* Biofloc systems work with less water exchange (only 5 to 1 percent of water has to be changed per day)
It is necessary to continuously mix and aerate water in a biofloc system.

Income can be obtained. Thus, the annual net profit of Rs. 25 thousand can be obtained from a tank. If expensive fishes are produced, this benefit can be 4.5 times more.

Advantages of Bio Flock Technology
* Work cost, limited space and overproduction.
* Use of unused land and very limited water.
* Freedom from excessive labor costs and the fear of theft.
