Selection Procedure for Navodaya Admission 2021-22:
  • The selection test for admission in class 6 will be held on April 10, 2021 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in the respective district.
  • The results of the examination will be notified through the application portal through which the application is submitted.
  • The results will be notified on the school information board as well as on the respective JNV websites. Selected candidates will also be notified by speed post and SMS.
  • Details of marks obtained in the test will not be communicated and there is no provision for re-checking / re-editing.
  • Selection in testing does not guarantee entry into JNV. For admission, the candidates are required to pass all relevant certifications such as birth certificate, marksheet, SC / ST certificate, if any, as prescribed by NVS.
  • Candidates will be considered for admission only to the school for which they have appeared in the selection test.
  • Medium of examination will be Hindi and English and students will be required to fill OMR sheet.
Educational Qualification for NVS Admission:

Applicants for admission to class six must be studying in class five in a government or recognized school. Students who want to get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas should belong to the same district and the same state where the school is located.

Conditions for admission: Admission to NVS is given on the basis of certain criteria. Firstly, merit list will be prepared at the district level and students will be selected according to the vacant seats in the schools.
