In Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, the selection test for admission to class 6 in session 2021-22 is conducted in schools across the country. The mode of application is online and details are available below for our readers.
According to Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, changes have been made in the admission test for admission in class 6 in the session 2021-22.
Admission is subject to availability of seats. Students who are willing to study in NVS can apply for the entrance examination. However they have to know the eligibility before applying.
- The online application form for class 6 admission is available on the official website of NVS. Candidates can visit the official website, fill the form and submit it.
- The last date to apply for the Class 6 entrance exam is 30 November 2020.
- The selection test for admission in class 6 will be held on April 10, 2021 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in the respective district.
- The results of the examination will be notified through the application portal through which the application is submitted.
- The results will be notified on the school information board as well as on the respective JNV websites. Selected candidates will also be notified by speed post and SMS.
- Details of marks obtained in the test will not be communicated and there is no provision for re-checking / re-editing.
- Selection in testing does not guarantee entry into JNV. For admission, the candidates are required to pass all relevant certifications such as birth certificate, marksheet, SC / ST certificate, if any, as prescribed by NVS.
- Candidates will be considered for admission only to the school for which they have appeared in the selection test.
- Medium of examination will be Hindi and English and students will be required to fill OMR sheet.
Educational Qualification for NVS Admission:
Applicants for admission to class six must be studying in class five in a government or recognized school. Students who want to get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas should belong to the same district and the same state where the school is located.
Conditions for admission: Admission to NVS is given on the basis of certain criteria. Firstly, merit list will be prepared at the district level and students will be selected according to the vacant seats in the schools. Then, according to the vacant seats at the district level, a general merit list will be prepared at the state level.
Students have to apply online. Here are some steps that will help implement them in an easy way:
- Step 1: Students have to visit NVS portal.
- Step 2: Then students have to register themselves by clicking on the link for registration.
