Now the name of Indian Army has also been added to it. The Indian Army has postponed the Common Entrance Test for the North East. According to the plan already proposed, this examination was to be held on 25 April.

Information about new dates will be given through notification

In a statement issued by the Army regarding this examination to be held for the North-East, it has been said that the General Entrance Examination for the Northeast is being postponed indefinitely. Lieutenant Colonel P Khongsai, posted in Guwahati, a public relations officer in the Indian Army, has told that the Common Entrance Examination was going to be held in Shillong, Meghalaya, Jorhat and Orange, Assam Rangpahar and Nagaland. These examinations were scheduled on 25 April. However, the examination has been postponed until further orders in view of the rapid increase in the number of patients infected with the corona virus.

Indian Army postponed Exam: Lt Col P Khongsai has said that the decision on the revised dates of the Common Entrance Exam for the Northeast will be taken later. The notification of new examination dates and other details will be provided to the Army by notification. Apart from this, all the Indian Army recruitment rallies in Aizawl from May 1 to 8 have also been postponed till May 31. The postponed general entrance examination for the Northeast will not affect the scores of candidates from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal and Odisha.
