Income Tax Department Recruitment 2021: Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner, Income Tax, Delhi has published a notification for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade 2, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Income Tax Inspector and Tax Assistant.

Eligibility Criteria for Income Tax Department Steno, MTS, Income Tax Inspector and Tax Assistant:
educational qualification:
MTS – 10th pass
Steno – 12th standard pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 words per minute (English) or 65 words per minute (Hindi) (on computer only)
Income Tax Inspector – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Tax Assistant- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. There should be a data entry speed of 8,000 depressions per hour.
Age Range:
For Income Tax Inspector: 18 to 30 years of age
For Tax Assistant / Stenographer / Multi Tasking Staff: 18 to 27 years of age
Sports Ability:
Players to represent:
- State or country in national or international competition in any sport / sport mentioned in para 7; or
- Inter-university tournament run by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the sports / sports mentioned in Para-7; or
- Teams of state schools in national sports / sports for schools run by the All India School Games Federation in the sports / sports mentioned in para 7; or

Selection Procedure for Income Tax Department Steno, MTS, Income Tax Inspector and Tax Assistant:
Selection will be done on the basis of interview and if further requirement is required, the players may also have to undergo ground / proficiency test.
