IIM-Udaipur Annual convocation: IIM Udaipur today celebrated its ninth convocation through video conferencing. During this period, 317 successful students of the MBA course were awarded degrees.

IIM-Udaipur Annual convocation: Amidst the situation and restrictions arising out of the Kovid-19 crisis, IIM Udaipur celebrated its ninth convocation for the first time through video conferencing. During this period, 317 students of MBA Batch 2019-21, One Year MBA Global Supply Chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management Batch 2020-21 were conferred MBA degree in the convocation by the institute.

Corona epidemic biggest challenge
Addressing the students of management, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, founder and chairperson of Biocon Limited, the chief guest of the convocation said that Kovid-19 is not the first epidemic that humanity has faced. However, the disease itself is challenging and more effective. Nevertheless, we need to rethink our future with a new hope and purpose. This is because every adverse situation also creates a great opportunity. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw said that technology-backed startups are starting everywhere. Carrying the business forward, we are presenting many new opportunities for us. Talented youth are needed to turn the challenges after Kovid-19 into opportunities. He congratulated the MBA students as the management leaders of tomorrow and hoped that you guys will succeed in your cause.

Kunal Jain received gold medal
Kunal Jain was awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance in One Year MBA Global Supply Chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management course. Radhika Gupta was awarded the Gold Medal for One Year Digital Enterprise Management Course for its superior performance. Kalam Kishore Reddy, Anoop Kumar and Lavish Mittal were jointly awarded the Gold Medal for academic performance in the two-year MBA course. Sharda Kiran was adjudged the best all round student in the two-year MBA course.
