Who can apply?

According to the notification issued by HMT Machine Tools Limited, only those candidates can apply for this post who have passed NCVT / ITI in a trade (machinist, grinder, fitter and electrician) of a recognized institution with 60% marks. However, the minimum marks cut off for SC and ST candidates is 50 per cent.

This will be the selection

The candidates will be made according to their experience. In addition, their practical test / written test will also be taken. In the first phase, the candidates will have to appear for skill testing and practical test, after this in the second phase, they will have to appear in the written test for aptitude and general knowledge test. There is a maximum of 70 marks for the practical test and 30 marks for the written test.

Selection Process

If the candidates are selected in this, then they will first be posted for the posts of Company Trainee for three years. After completion of the period, the candidates will have to appear again in the written test / practical test. Confirmed appointment will be given only after the candidates declared successful in the test are placed on probation period for the first six months on permanent basis.
