Govt Jobs: For government jobs, reservation is given by most of the states to the candidates from outside the states as per the rules. But the Ladakh administration has issued new recruitment rules for jobs in government departments. As per the new rules external candidates are not eligible to apply.
Govt Jobs in ladakhKeeping in view the increasing unemployment in the country, the state government also takes a tough stand. Many states have reserved seats for out-of-state candidates. The Ladakh administration has also prepared the Union Territory of Ladakh Subordinate Services Recruitment Rules 2021 for the job vacancies in government departments. According to the new recruitment rule, only the youth of Ladakh will be able to apply for the recruitment. According to the official notification, jobs will be reserved only for special local people.

The Information and Public Relations Department of Kargil Ladakh has informed in a tweet that “The Lieutenant Governor, Ladakh has notified the Employment (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules for Ladakh UT, specifically to reserve jobs for the local people. “

Must be local for government job
It is necessary to be local to apply for Govt Jobs in government departments of Ladakh. According to the notification, the rules made by Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur will be effective from the date of publication. According to clause 11 of the notification by the Labor and Employment Department, Ladakh, “It is necessary to be a resident of the Union Territory of Ladakh for the recruitment of vacant posts in government departments. Employees already in service shall be deemed to be appointed to the service in the initial constitution.
