What is merit
The necessary qualifications will have to be fulfilled for recruitment to the posts of Circle Based Officer of SBI. It is necessary for recruitment that the candidates have graduated in any discipline. Along with this, age limit has also been fixed for qualified applicants. For recruitment to these posts, it is necessary that the age of the applicants is not more than 30 years on August 1, 2020. Apart from these, the eligible applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the post of an officer in a scheduled commercial bank or a regional rural bank by 1 August 2020.
What is the selection process
Selection of qualified applicants for this post will be done on the basis of shortlisting and interview. Under this process, the shortlisting committee will first shortlist the applicants based on the prescribed standards. Shortlisted applicants will then be called for interview. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of interview only. The merit list will be prepared for the State Wise and the Category Wise.
