Selected candidates will be given a salary ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand. Under these recruitments, 30 vacancies have been drawn for Trainee Engineer (Civil), 21 for Mechanical, 5 for HR, 8 for Law, 22 for Finance. However, applicants must have a valid GATE-2020 registration number, UGC NET-June 2020 application number, CLAT 2020 registration number and CA / CMA score / certificate. An application form filled without these will be rejected.

What is merit
Applicants for the post of Trainee Engineer Civil and Mechanical of NHPC must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 60% marks. For the post of Trainee Officer HR, it is mandatory to have a 2-year Post Graduate degree or an MBA degree with a minimum of 60 percent marks. For Trainee Officer Law, one should have a Graduate degree in Law with a minimum of 60 percent marks. For Trainee Officer Finance, applicants must have a CA, ICWA or CMA degree. Apart from this, the applicants should not be more than 30 years of age on 1 October 2020 for all posts.

How will choose
The qualified applicants for the post of Trainee Engineers will be selected on the basis of GATE 2020 score. Selection for Trainee Officer HR will be done on the basis of UGC NET June 2020. Eligible applicants for Trainee Officer Law will be selected through CLAT 2020. Qualified applicants for Trainee Officer Finance will be selected on the score of CA or CMA.
