Age Range
Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years. Age will be calculated from 1 January 2020.
– Maximum age relaxation of 2 years will be given for backward class and extremely backward class men and women.
– The maximum age limit for SC and ST men and women is 28 years.
Educational Qualifications
12th standard pass from recognized board
pay scale
Pay Scale – Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month (Level – 3)
Selection Process
Based on written examination and physical efficiency test (PET).
The level of written examination will be of 12th level. Mathematics and Science questions will be of 10th standard. There will be 2 hours of paper. In this, 100 objective questions of 4-4 marks will be asked. That means the entire paper will be of 400 marks. Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test.
The final merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
Application fee
SC and ST candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 112. The application fee for all other candidates is Rs 450. One can deposit the fee through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan.
To fill the online application, the candidate will go to CSBC website www.csbc.bih.nic.in and go to the tab of Forest Dept and click on Adv No 03/2020. After clicking on the application-related link given on the same page, the process of filling the application form can be started.
