Common Eligibility Test : The General Eligibility Test (CET) conducted twice a year by the agency for recruitment to the posts of Group B and Group C of Railways, SSC and Banking (IBPS), after the approval of the Central Cabinet to form the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) Will. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts. The general eligibility test will be conducted at three levels – 10th, 12th and graduate levels. Standard syllabus will be applicable for general eligibility test which will be released later. Apart from Hindi and English medium, general eligibility test will also be conducted in various Indian languages. The general eligibility test is to be conducted next year i.e. from 2021, under this, youths preparing for government jobs will not have to make separate applications for recruitment in central departments and organizations.

Earlier, in the Modi government’s cabinet meeting, the same general eligibility test – CET was approved for recruitment to the posts of Group B and Group C in Central Government Ministries, Departments and Organizations yesterday, August 19, 2020. Granted. According to the information received from the Central Government Secretary C Chandramouli, there are more than 20 recruitment agencies in the present and we will gradually conduct all these examinations with general eligibility test in future. However, initially the examinations of only three agencies will be conducted by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA).
