Infosys Recruitment: While other companies have slowed the hiring process during the Corona crisis, the country’s leading software services company Infosys (Infosys) has announced to provide bumper jobs to freshers this financial year. This year, the company will give jobs to 26 thousand freshers through campus placements.

In the previous season 2020-21, the company hired 21 thousand freshers. Of these, 19 thousand jobs were given to Indian candidates. At the same time, 24 thousand jobs are going to be given to Indian employees out of 26 thousand jobs this year. At the same time, two thousand jobs company will give to foreign students.

17,248 new employees added

In the information given to the stock exchange, the company said that as of the end of March 2021, there were 2,59,619 employees working in the company, while 17,248 new employees were added to the company. According to Infosys COO UB Praveen Rao, the company is returning to its regular compensation cycle. After January 2021, the company has announced the Second Compensation Review of personnel.

Less than expected profit

Significantly, Infosys has come out with the fourth quarter results on Wednesday. The consolidated net profit of the company fell 2.6 per cent to Rs 5078 crore in January. This is much less than anticipated. Analysts expected Infosys’ consolidated net profit to be Rs 5170.2 crore in the fourth quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Infosys consolidated revenue grew by 2.8 per cent to Rs 26,311 crore. This is less than anticipated. Analysts were expecting consolidated revenue of Rs 26,701.8 crore.
