Bihar Police Recruitment 2020: Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission (BPSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) and Sergeant posts. The online application process has started for these vacancies in Bihar Police from 16 August 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2020 by 24 September 2020. Ex-servicemen and employees of the Bihar government are also eligible to apply.
A total of 2213 vacancies are available under BPSSC Recruitment 2020. Out of the total vacancies, 1998 is for the post of Police Sub Inspector and 215 for the posts of Sergeant.
Candidates wishing to apply for Bihar Police Recruitment 2020 should be graduates.

General (Male) and EWC (Male) – 20 to 37 years
EBC, BC, women general candidates and women EWC candidates – 20 to 40 years

Selection Procedure for Bihar Police SI Posts:
Selection will be done on the basis of written examination i.e. preliminary examination and mains examination.
Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern:
Bihar Police SI Preliminary Examination – The exam will have 100 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the test is 2 hours. Questions will be related to general knowledge. Candidates will need a minimum of 30% marks to appear for the main examination.
Bihar Police SI Mains Examination – The main examination will be conducted in two parts. There will be 100 questions on General Hindi in Part 1 and 100 questions in General Knowledge in Part 2. 2 hours will be given to complete each part.
There will be negative marks for both exams of 0.2 marks.
