The application process for the CHO posts of NHM Bihar has started from today and the last date to apply is 04 February 2021. Candidates should apply in the format mentioned before this date. Those candidates who successfully complete this course will be appointed as Community Health Officers at various health and wellness centers. NHM Bihar will select qualified candidates for this recruitment through the online exam. To pass this exam it is necessary that the candidate has obtained at least 30 percent marks. This certificate program will be conducted by IGNOU.

Educational Qualifications –
Candidates should have passed GNM and Computer degree from a recognized institute. Also, on 1 January 2021, the age of the candidate should not be above minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years. However, reserved category will be given age relaxation as per government rules. The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of computer based examination i.e. CBT.

Selected candidates will also be given a stipend, living and eating allowance of Rs 10,000 per month during the six-month course. Course fees and other expenses will be borne by the committee. At the same time, after appointment as CHO, 25 thousand rupees per month salary and maximum of 15 thousand rupees per month will be given as incentive.
