Applications have been invited to appoint a resource person under the self-reliant India campaign under the Department of Horticulture and Food. The last date for submission of application is 31 December 2020.

The qualifications for the Resource Person information received from Collector Shri Rakesh Singh are as follows:

Eligibility

Applicant Diploma / Degree in Food Technology / Food Engineering from reputed National / International University / Institute. 3 to 5 years of experience in providing consultancy services to food processing industries regarding technology upgradation, development of new products, quality assurance, food safety management. If qualified person in the field of food technology is not available, then persons with experience in food processing industry, banking / DPR preparation and training can be appointed.

Resource Person’s Functions

Resource persons will provide hand-holding services to individual industries and groups such as assistance in preparing DPR, taking loans from the bank, obtaining necessary registration and licenses including food standards of FSSAAI, industry base, GST etc. On the basis of assistance provided to each beneficiary, payment of resource person will be made at the rate of 20 thousand rupees after acceptance of loan from bank.

Fifty percent will be paid after acceptance of bank loan and balance 50 percent will be paid to the industry after obtaining GST and Industry Based Registration and compliance with FSSAI standards, implementation of the project and training.

Application leaf and last date?

The District Resource Person will not be retained as a regular appointment and will be kept as a facilitator and case based payment will be made as per the guidelines of the scheme. The last date for application is 31 December 2020. Documents for the application will be accepted offline between 11 am to 5 pm at the Deputy Director Garden Office, Company Garden Complex Betul.
