Application process for Bihar Judicial Service Main Examination starts today, know complete details including exam date

BPSC 31st Bihar Judicial Service Main Exam: Bihar Public Service Commission has released the notification of the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Main Examination. The registration process for the main examination starts today i.e. February 19. According to media reports, Bihar Judicial Service Main Examination is likely to start from 8 April.

A total of 2,379 candidates are eligible to appear for this examination based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the preliminary examination held in December 2020. Candidates will be able to apply by 18 March. The Commission has asked the candidates to submit the relevant documents by speed post or registered post by 25 March.

According to the result related notice issued by Bihar Public Service Commission, a total of 2379 candidates have been declared successful for the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Main Examination 2020 through the Prelims Exam. Only 2379 candidates have qualified for the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Main Examination 2020. While a total of 15360 candidates appeared in the prelims exam.

Exam pattern
Questions in the main examination will be asked from General Knowledge, such as Current Affairs, Elementary General Science, General Hindi, General English, Law of Evidence and Procedure.

The cut-off mark in Hindi and English paper is 30%, the candidates who fail to get it will be disqualified from the examination. There will also be three optional papers in the exam.

The candidates who are successful in the main examination will appear for the interview, which will be a total of 100 marks. A total of 221 vacancies in judicial service will be filled through this examination.
